March 25, 2012 - Come stop by the Home of the Maryland Black Ice and you might see some changes. In the late winter and early spring, the Black Ice organization worked together to put in new sod down the baselines, cover the field in a coating of fresh dirt, cut the fields down to regulation size and cushion the backstop at field one. We are currently working with the County to put in an observation deck behind field one and paint the MBI logo on the newly painted field one backstop. In addition, the irregularities in the field and the drainage problems have been worked out.
